Legal Literacy Cell

S.D.College of Education believes that justice is the cornerstone and fundamental goal of every civilized nation. The main objective of law is justice which reiterates the orderly progress of a given society. Keeping this in mind, a legal literacy cell has been established in the college. This is expected to not only promote legal literacy but also help strengthen the capacity of youth to effectively advocate for human rights and access justice for vulnerable populations. The main objectives of the Legal Literacy Cell of the college is to identify persons who deserve legal aid or assistance, to spread legal awareness by setting up rallies, distributing leaflets, pamphlets and study material, to observe important days like World Environment Day, World day against Child labor, Women’s day, National Legal Services Day etc. and spread message in the public about the aim and objective of these days.
