Economics Department

The Department of Economics has attained a distinctive position by imparting quality education in the field of Economics at under graduate level including B.A., B.Com and B.B.A. streams. The vision of the department has been to equip the students with the latest and comprehensive knowledge about the subject and familiarize them with its practical relevance in the contemporary scenario. The faculty of the department comprises two regular Associate Professors. The department has shown excellent results since its inception. It makes a continuous effort to persuade the students to be creative thinkers who can offer innovative solutions to problems arising in the society. The students have added to its prestige by securing university ranks and placements in government, semi-government and private institutions. The department has progressed and widened its spectrum by organizing various activities like National Seminars, Debates, Declamation Contests, Quiz Competitions and Education tours with the noble aim of dissemination of knowledge and building up students’ personality.
