Computer Applications Department
The Department of Computer Applications was established in 1998 with one Lab comprising 9 computers (1 P-II Processor, 8 Celeron Processor) with CRT monitors. In the department, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) commenced from 1998 with two batches. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the department has started BCA, M. Sc-IT, B.Sc. (Computer Applications) and M.Sc.-IT (Lateral Entry). The students from Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) are also offered an appropriate foundation in computing by opting for Computer Applications as one of the subjects. The Department of Computer Applications provides the students an exposure to the latest tools and technology in the area of computer hardware and software. We strive to offer high quality education in the science of computing and to impart strong fundamental knowledge in thrust areas. We aim to generate technically competent and skilled professionals specifically from the rural areas.
