Sh. Naresh Kumar Singla

Some individuals just blaze a trail, some hit milestones while others leave a tangible impact in various domains. Such a personality is Sh. Naresh Kumar Singla who possessing unyielding tenacity of purpose has been able to scale the heights which others appreciatively look at. This strong personality was born to Sh. Hans Raj Singla in 1954 at Budhlada. Sh. Hans Raj Singla was a Patwari at Budhlada and retired as a Kanungo from Ludhiana. He was a man of progressive views and did a lot of work for the dismal lives of the impoverished. Having healthy perceptions he was a giant in his own sphere of activity. It was chiefly from his father, Sh. Naresh Kumar Singla inherited the qualities of diligence, conviction and compassion for the society. After receiving his primary education from Budhlada and secondary education form Dhanaula, he completed his B.Sc., Degree from S.D. College, Barnala. After doing LL.B., from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1977, he started his career as a lawyer in Barnala. His commitment to his profession speaks volume for his sincerity and dedication. Surmounting all the difficulties whatever come in the way he set on the path of achieving the goal with his dogged determination. Sh. Naresh Kumar Singla did not confine himself only to private practice as a lawyer but his all pervading popularity was felt in discharging the duties of legal advisor efficiently pertaining to diverse fields- may that be Bank's, Municipal Council's, Railways, BSNL, Markfed, Insurance Companies or ESI. Making earnest endeavors, he is shedding the luster of his genius whatever his sphere of activity may be. With steadfastness of purpose to serve the society, he joined S.D. College, Management Committee as a member. Known for his qualities of amiable disposition, deep conscious and human outlook, he has, over the decades, built a towering reputation for himself as a vice President of S.D. College Managing Committee. He is not an individual but an institution in himself.
